The DMV, the US version of the CBR

Got this letter in the mail yesterday, April 16. Look at the date stamp on the letter itself. It's not the postal service that's taking so long, it's the inner workings of the DMV that are holding things up. Very "Leuker kunnen we het niet maken, wel langzamer" (a variation on the Dutch IRS's slogan). Oh well, what am I complaining about anyway? I have to renew my driver's licence and apparently they did away with the faxing business. No more need to track down a fax machine and scan every legal document I own. and keeping my fingers crossed I punched in the right number. Now I just make copies and stick 'em in an envelope ... much better, no?!
